Since I was a little girl I have collected quotes and poems. I used to cut out quotes and glue them into scrapbooks. I spent many hours going through and reading them. I still collect them – thank goodness for the copy/paste function in computers!
Poetry
These poems really speak to me and serve as a reminder of what I felt during my major life transitions. They ground me and I refer to them often.

Books
I love reading. As a child it fed my imagination and as an adult it feeds my soul.
I believe that books find me at the right time. For example, when I was trying to figure out my next direction in life, The Gift of an Ordinary Day and Eat, Pray, Love practically leapt off the bookshelf at the store, begging me to take them home. They were exactly what I needed at that time. I still have them and recall the sense of peace and “ok-ness” I felt reading them.
I am a bit of an apothecary of books. I love trying to match people with just the right book. It’s always heartwarming for me when it resonates with them. I am always happy to talk books with you!
